FDSI works under the auspices of the Don Bosco Foundation Malta. The Institute is owned by the Salesian in Malta and derives its resources from the same congregation and from a large number of volunteers and employees.
Currently the FDSI is offering micro credentials in areas of education and training that promote personal, professional and spiritual development. For more information visit the section on micro-credentials in this web portal.
Some of courses of FDSI are already accredited with the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA). Other new courses are in the process of being submitted for accreditation. The Management Board of the Institute will gladly discuss the proposal and ensure that if approved it will achieve high standards of education, training or research.
