Paul Formosa is warranted Psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy Profession Board, Malta, the European Association for Psychotherapy, and the World Council for Psychotherapy. He is also an accredited supervisor with the Psychotherapy Profession Board Malta, Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute Malta (EAPTI-GPTIM) and European Association of Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). He studied in Ireland and in Malta and obtained a Doctorate degree in Psychotherapy from EAPTI-GPTIM. Besides contributing articles to journals and delivering papers Paul is the author of the book A Journey to the Soul: Exploring Presence at the Heart of Gestalt Therapy and Salesian Education published by Pubblikazjoni Salesjana 2023. He served on the Council for the Professions Complementary in Medicine and secretary on the Psychotherapy Profession Board which regulates the Psychotherapy Profession in Malta. Currently he is a board member and sits on the vetting sub-committee.
