Qualitative Interviewing

The training will provide participants with best practices and hands-on experience in conducting in-depth qualitative interviews and facilitating focus groups. The course emphasizes the practical aspects of developing a robust interview protocol, ensuring ethical standards are upheld, and obtaining informed consent from participants. Participants will gain skills in crafting and posing various types of questions to elicit rich and meaningful responses, while also learning to navigate sensitive scenarios, including implementing emergency policies should a participant wish to withdraw or stop an interview.

Additionally, the training covers essential strategies for effectively concluding interviews and focus groups, ensuring a respectful and professional experience for all involved.
